Help Accor Services support children around the world with Plan International
Accor Services has teamed up with leading children's charity Plan International to support children around the world.
Plan currently work in 45 poor countries, where 1 out of every 4 children die before the age of five, and the ones that survive often go hungry and have no chance of learning to read and write.
Plan sits down with these children, their parents and the community to plan practical ways to provide all the things we take for granted, so that together they build schools, drill wells, get nurses trained and help families support themselves. This is all possible because a million people across the world sponsor a child with Plan and by doing so benefit many other children and communities.
Accor Services is encouraging all our clients, redeemers and service users to support Plan's work and sponsor a child.
How can you help?
You can sponsor a child for as little as £12 a month, or persuade your company to support Plan though donations, staff fundraising, payroll giving or gifts in kind. To find out more contact Ruth Baker at Plan on 020 7482 9593 or ruth.baker@plan-international.org. Visit www.plan-international.org
Companies using Accor Services gain top industry awards
29 of the 50 companies featured in the Sunday Times - Great Place to Work Survey use Accor Services. The Best Companies lists are based on the pioneering work of best-selling authors Robert Levering and Milton Moskowitz and the methodology developed by the Great Place to Work Institute, an international research and consulting company.
A company doesn't become a Great Place to Work by accident. It is the result of the attitudes and actions of a management that seeks to develop trust and co-operation. Good workplaces are not just about tangible staff benefits. The culture counts, too.
In the UK, 16,000 people participated in the survey, representing an impressive cross-section of businesses ranging in size from 500 to 100,000 employees and turnover from £25 million to £20 billion.
8 out of 10 of the companies featured in the Fortune Survey for top European employers use Accor Services.
Accor Services has received additional 2002 certification from Opportunity Now for its commitment to progress as an Opportunity Now Employer.
